Vancouver’s the Broken Islands, gather baskets bursting with post rock neuroses, and unabashedly hoist them up by smothering them with glossy pop elements; A tie-dye baptism, cleansing our anxieties with colourful melodies and understanding, therapeutic lyrics. At the core, their songs are gritty, but with a fusing of crunchy guitars, deep bass grooves, trip hop beats and pure punk rock emotion, the Broken Islands create a kaleidoscope of calming and dangerous soundscapes.
At the height of the pandemic we were tasked with creating a visual for Dark road.

Parkland is a music project based around the writing and recordings of Rob Malowany. Primarily a singer/songwriter, immersion in the Vancouver creative music scene inspired Malowany to mix improv and textural exploration into his song structures. In a live setting Parkland exists in many forms, from voice with guitar and piano, to an exploratory full-spectrum band with drums, dobro, cello, piano, and bass, together with an array of noise soundscapes and unique textures.
